PEACE Punta de Mita recently organized a visit to the annual STEAM Fair hosted by Harkness Institute, an esteemed private high school recognized for its rigorous academics and distinctive Harkness learning model. The educational excursion included 36 students total—22 from Prepanet and 14 from the Onboarding group.
The fair showcased an interdisciplinary collection of student-led initiatives addressing authentic challenges through the integration of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. According to the account, "For our students, it was much more than just a school outing. They gained a fresh perspective on what young people their age are capable of achieving with dedication, teamwork, and a drive for excellence."
The students returned with practical insights for enhancing their own academic work, having observed the caliber of presentations, technological innovation, and effective communication of complex concepts.
